At 1-1/4 turns the i-Fitting "inspection ring" (red) breaks free revealing the "check ring" (blue). A proper installation every time. Once a installation is completed the mechanic can visually confirm that all the fittings are at the "proper compression" – if you see RED, the fitting installation is not SAFE.
